新澳门六合彩资料 College of the Arts (COTA) has published Arts新澳门六合彩资料 Magazine, covering 2019-2020. Formerly 鈥淔lourish Magazine,鈥 Arts新澳门六合彩资料 Magazine highlights stories of students, alumni, donors, performances, and more.
Highlights of the issue include a message from Ivan Pulinkala, dean of the College of the Arts, and an introduction to the COTA Ambassador鈥檚 Council. Members of the Ambassador鈥檚 Council serve as advocates for Arts新澳门六合彩资料 in the Atlanta community and beyond through volunteer leadership and fundraising activities. Donors are vital for supporting the arts at 新澳门六合彩资料, and Arts新澳门六合彩资料 Magazine pays tribute to Jay and Debra Yunek for their generous donation to the Department of Dance. The magazine also lists over 150 individual donors to the arts in 2019-2020, as well as a list of endowments and student scholarships.
The students are what make the arts at 新澳门六合彩资料 so vibrant, and Arts新澳门六合彩资料 Magazine features students Hanson Bassey, a sculpture and 3D artist, and Shari Purnell, a dance student. Arts新澳门六合彩资料 tags along with Ryan Gregory and his interesting journey to the Atlanta Opera Orchestra (BM, Performance,鈥16). Next, readers will learn that 鈥淔rances Wasn鈥檛 A Saint鈥 as they read about April Marten and her art career (BFA, Drawing & Painting, 鈥12). Patrons who have attended a show in Atlanta over the past year may have seen Ben Rawson鈥檚 work in lighting design; he designs lighting in many of the Atlanta theaters (BA, Theatre, 鈥16).
Lighting also plays a key role in the newly constructed studios of the School of Art and Design facilities at Chastain Pointe, as the facilities will primarily house drawing, painting, and printmaking spaces. Readers will also get a glimpse of the new box office at the Marietta Dance Theater that will make the ticketing process easier for both the patrons and the patron services staff.
Finally, Arts新澳门六合彩资料 Magazine explores the Tina Dunkley Fellows exhibitions 鈥淟ooming Chaos鈥 and 鈥淯NBOUND鈥 by TK Smith and Nzinga Simmons at the Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art. The exhibitions are in partnership with Clark Atlanta University Art Museum, one of many partnerships that Arts新澳门六合彩资料 enjoys. Additional partnerships are with Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre and the Alliance Theatre, to name a few.
