新澳门六合彩资料鈥檚 Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences (RCHSS) is one of almost 30 colleges and universities to be a part of the inaugural class of the , led by the (AAC&U). As part of this initiative, RCHSS will design a comprehensive plan across the college to implement ePortfolios鈥攄igital tools that capture students鈥� educational journey, increase students鈥� job readiness, and deepen their understanding of their coursework.

鈥淲e want to take a systematic approach to creating a plan that will include input and involvement from students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members,鈥� shared Brian Wooten, the faculty director of the RCHSS Passport to Success program.

Team members will not only work within RCHSS when creating their plan, but they will also work with other universities participating in the Institute to share ideas. In addition, they will have guidance from AAC&U staff members and a faculty mentor who are experts on ePortfolios.

After the plan is implemented, RCHSS students will benefit from chronicling their schoolwork and reflecting on their academic and personal growth. Once completed, ePortfolios can even serve as a supplement or an alternative to a work r茅sum茅, especially for students who may not have work experience.

Participation in the Institute reflects RCHSS鈥檚 commitment to have the most future-ready and aptly-skilled graduates. 

鈥淩CHSS is committed to producing graduates who have knowledge and experience, gained through project-based collaborative learning, which will empower them to find their purpose and have a successful life after graduation," Wooten explained. "This Institute will help RCHSS meet those goals.鈥�

The ePortfolio Institute is a collaboration between ACC&U and the Association for Authentic, Experiential, and Evidence-Based Learning (AAEEBL) and the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). It serves as a year-long engagement鈥痮pportunity for campus teams seeking to actualize an ambitious strategy to broaden student engagement with ePortfolios.
